How to Become an Ayurvedic Doctor
(BAMS - Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery)?
To become an Ayurvedic Doctor, a
student must complete a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
degree, which is a 5.5-year course that includes Ayurvedic medicine, modern
medical sciences, and surgery.
Step 1: Choose the Right Subjects
After 10th Standard
After 10th standard, a student must
opt for the Science stream with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology). The
required subjects are:

English and Hindi (compulsory for many entrance exams)
📌 Mathematics is optional, but some
students take it to strengthen their analytical skills.
Step 2: Complete 12th Standard with
PCB

Eligibility cum Entrance Test - Undergraduate).

After completing BAMS, graduates
